Frequently asked questions
Is Petnunu free?
The app is free and plenty of pets are free to adopt. Some pets — official ones and community ones alike — unlock with coins; coins are earned for free by checking in daily, finishing quests and unlocking achievements in the app.
Will a pet slow my computer down?
Pets run at a dynamic frame rate and quiet down while you are not interacting, so the impact on performance is tiny.
Can I make my own pet?
You can. Open Petnunu Studio, describe the friend you want and let the studio draw the sprites. Your new pet lands in “My Packs” — tap 🌍 Public to send it for review, and once an admin approves it your pet joins the community.
Can coins be exchanged for money?
No. Coins are virtual items used inside the app — non-refundable and not exchangeable for cash.
